Festival internacionalnog studentskog teatra (FIST) je jedno od ključnih pozorišnih dešavanja Zapadnog Balkana u oblasti studentskog teatra. Osnovan 2005. godine na inicijativu studenata Katedre za menadžment i produkciju pozorišta, radija i kulture Fakulteta dramskih umetnosti u Beogradu, FIST od samog početka predstavlja i promoviše pozorišna ostvarenja koja pomeraju granice pozorišnog izražavanja i koja su beskompromisna u progovaranju o temama koje su aktuelne i važne. Na taj način, FIST kreira ambijent pogodan za eksperiment i inovaciju, podstičući savremeno stvaralaštvo mladih, odvažnih autora.
Za 19 godina postojanja, FIST se izgradio kao platforma za umrežavanje budućih pozorišnih profesionalaca, ali i prostor za razmenu veština, znanja i iskustava. Svojim programom osvojio mladu, lokalnu publiku, koju kontinuirano upoznaje sa najnovijim tendencijama u oblasti studentskog pozorišnog stvaralaštva. Ugostivši akademije iz Japana, Velike Britanije, Rusije, Italije, Švajcarske, Češke, Poljske, Hrvatske i dr, FIST je ostvario izvesne korake ka jačanju kulturno-diplomatskih odnosa kroz stvaranje trajnih saradnji sa inostranim umetničkim akademijama.
Novo, devetnaesto po redu izdanje Festivala internacionalnog studentskog teatra nastavlja započeto - i ove godine, FIST teži ka tome da globalno bude prepoznat kao studentski pozorišni festival koji svojim programom postavlja društveno relevantna pitanja i načinom njegove prezentacije preispituje ustaljene formate postojećih pozorišnih praksi.
Festival of International Student Theatre (FIST) is one of the key theatre events in the Western Balkans in the field of student theatre production. Founded in 2005 at the initiative of students from the Department of Management and Production of Theatre, Radio and Culture at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, FIST has been, from the very beginning, presenting and promoting performances that push the boundaries of theatrical expression and are steadfast in addressing current and important issues. In this way, FIST became an environment suitable for experimenting and innovating, while also encouraging young, bold authors to create contemporary theatre.
In its 19 years of existence, FIST has established itself as a platform for networking, propitious for future theater professionals, as well as a place for exchanging skills, knowledge and experiences. With its program, the festival has won over young, local audiences, continuously introducing them to the latest trends in the field of student theatre production. By hosting academies from Japan, the United Kingdom, Russia, Italy, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia and others, FIST has taken certain steps towards strengthening cultural-diplomatic relations by creating lasting partnerships with foreign art academies.
The 19th edition of the Festival of International Student Theatre continues where it left off - this year as well, FIST aims to be globally recognized as a student theatre festival that raises socially relevant questions with its program and questions established formats of existing theater practices with its presentation.
Devetnaesti po redu Festival internacionalnog studentskog teatra (FIST) održaće se od 20. do 25. maja 2024. godine pod sloganom „(Pri)stani na pritisak”. Organizacioni tim ovogodišnjeg izdanja festivala prepoznao je reč „pritisak” kao onu koja neretko prati stasavanje pojedinca u njegovim dvadesetim godinama, bilo da je u pitanju pritisak vremena, uspeha, mogućnosti ili pak potencijalnih prepreka.
Živeti u svojim dvadesetim godinama znači nesnađenost, izgubljenost, prepuštenost. Prepuštenost slučaju, sebi, drugima, očekivanjima, bolu, sreći, životu. Živeti u dvadesetim godinama znači praviti greške, ispravljati ih, ljutiti se, voleti, imati visok standard, pokazati sebe, sakriti sebe, zaštititi sebe. Živeti u dvadesetim godinama znači da vreme teče, a mi imamo osećaj da stojimo. Vreme teče i ono neće stati, a od pritiska nam zuji u ušima.
Odgovor 19. FIST-a na ovogodišnju temu sačinjen je u samom sloganu. „(Pri)stani na pritisak” svojom igrom reči ukazuje na to da uvek postoje dve mogućnosti - pristati na nešto ili odlučno stati tome na put. Koja će od njih prevagnuti? Saznaćemo zajedno jer se pritisak meri paskalom, ali FIST pritisak meri drugačije.

The 19th edition of the Festival of International Student Theatre (FIST) will take place from May 20 to May 25, 2024. under the slogan "Take (off) the pressure." The organizing team of this year's festival recognized the word "pressure" as one that often accompanies one's twenties, whether it be the pressure of time, success, opportunities or potential obstacles.
To live in one's twenties means confusion, feeling lost and being left to oneself. Being left to chance, to oneself, to others, to expectations, to pain, to happiness, to life. To live in one's twenties means to make mistakes, to correct them, to get angry, to love, to have high standards, to show oneself, to hide oneself, to protect oneself. To live in one's twenties means that time passes, and we feel like we're standing still. Time passes and it won't stop, and the pressure buzzes in our ears.
The 19th FIST's response to this year's theme is encapsulated in the slogan itself. "Take (off) the pressure," with its wordplay, points out that there are always two possibilities - to agree to something or to decisively oppose it. Which one will prevail? We will find out together because pressure is measured in pascals, but FIST measures pressure differently.
